I graduated from Staffordshire University with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology.

I spent 20 years working at various posts within UK Visas and Immigration - most recently as a Technical Specialist.

In 2019, I founded Allergy Resources, an online platform providing comprehensive allergy resources.
I live in Solihull, UK with my partner, two children, 2 cats and 2 rabbits.

In 2009 my first child was born with severe eczema and was diagnosed at 5 months old with a cows milk allergy after a severe allergic reaction to their first solid food.

This was swiftly followed by a longer list of other allergies including various pollens, animal dander, and allergy to egg and pineapple.

At the age of 3 she developed asthma.

There was only a mild history of allergies in our family at that point and my doctor and health visitor had no interest or information about food allergies, so I had to search the internet to find everything myself.
